| Over the past 15 years, we have had the good fortune of working with great PGRs and Staff Research Associates. Over 100 laboratory helpers and assistants have worked the summer months, many of whom spent a few years in the laboratory, becoming career employees, while they completed college degrees (most commonly a teaching credential). Karen Rachel Sime (2002-present) |
Karen is working on a number of projects, all including some aspect of parasitoid biology. These studies include encrytid parasitoids of San Jose scale and vine mealybug, and braconid parasitoids of fruit flies. |

Monica is working on the impact of ant controls on mealybug densities, as well as parasitoid effectiveness. |
